Under the management of the Bangladesh Agricultural University Extension Centre (BAUEC), many agricultural extension and village improvement programs are continuing through 44 societies in 22 villages. Moreover, different educational and vegetable cultivation programs are in opertion in 40 educational institutes including primary schools, high schools, madrashas and orphanages in Sadar, Trishal, Gouripur and Phulpur thana.
