During the period of July 1992 - June 1995, the departmental teachers conducted the following research projects:

• Professor Dr. Mosharraf Hossain- (a) Research on Industrial Insects: Silkworm and Honey bee and (b) Research on Beekeeping and Production of Honey.

• Professor Dr. Md. Mohsin Ali Sardar- Biological Control of Bean Aphid

• Professor M. Shahjahan- Development of Technology for Integrated Weed Management in Bangladesh (Entomology Section)

• Dr. Md. Azizul Haque- Role of the microsporidian pathogen, Vairimorpha necatrix in controlling jute hairy caterpillar, Spilosoma obliqua (W.).
